Updates on Obeah.Sheloya.com

Oya's Skirt Eggplant I’ve finally done some updates and made a decision about what to do with the different domains. First, I’ve decided to keep them. Though the server space and software issues were solved on my main host, I’ve decided to keep the other because of their great customer service, and I can use it as a sort of “sandbox” to try new things.

Second, I’ve decided to use this domain mainly for articles, and the other mainly for photos. So there will be new content here, but it’ll mostly be information and featuring spiritual people from the islands, diaspora, and Africa. As I’ve said, Obeah isn’t one thing, and its origins are both historical and present. Like Vodun it has evolved, and with the internet, most of us are able to reach back to our roots and spiritually repatriate in a way. I hope to be of some help in this.

Third, I will be sharing some recipes and workings that observant laypersons can use to enhance their lives. In the past I thought of teaching general witchcraft officially, but that isn’t my path. I just don’t have the patience to be disappointed by 100 people who are lazy or overly attracted to exploitative people to get to the one student who might be real.

New photos are up from 2020 and 2021. I’ve also made a forum post about what’s been going on the past couple of years. I’ve also posted a reminder not to allow yourself to get drained in these harsh times.

More updates are coming, so visit Obeah @Sheloya.com often for new photos and forums.

Blessings and Ashé!
