Ebbo for Oshun, March 16, 2017 Hosted by Ile Baalat Teva

On March 16, 2017 Ile Baalat Teva hosted our spring ebbo for Oshun at the Kineret (Sea of Galilee).  This year, the divination said that Oshun wanted a fish, so we did the Golden Fish ceremony.  There was a miracle even before.  To make sure that we would definitely start with a live fish, we made reservations with two different fishmongers, and both failed us.  So we conceded to the will of the Orishas, even though it was disappointing.

Our ile’s Queen Arden Keren went to the fishmongers to take the best of what we could get and to scold them for disappointing us, and while sorting through the best of what was there, saw some movement.  There was one who was still alive, and bonus, full of five kilos of eggs.  So after she was properly dispatched, we had our Golden Fish.  🙂

There was beautiful weather, beautiful people, and beautiful manifestations of very happy, positive energy.  Another miracle, the most beautiful cat in attendance partook of some of the offerings even though cats supposedly don’t like sweets much.  There were also many birds there to bless our workings.  Overall, it was wonderful and powerful.  Ore Yeye Oshun!  🙂

Blessings and Ase!
