Do it Yourself Wanga Mojo Gri Gri Bags

  • September 27, 2011 3:17 pm

I sew our bags for DIY kits by handOn this site, we offer many powerful workings, and price them according to our costs.  Because if we’re going to do something, we do it for maximum effectiveness, our ethics do not allow us to short change you or attempt to undersell others by doing so.  However, we do understand that not everyone can afford the highest level of offerings and supplies.  In honesty, I have to say that though some things should be done by a priest/ess and that if you truly want them, you will do what it takes to get them, other things can be done just as well by the layperson with priestly supervision.

So before I offer you kits for wanga for which you can do the main ceremonial work and offerings yourself, I must ask that if you buy them, please follow the instructions that come with them to the letter.  If it seems difficult, do not let it discourage you.  All of the instructions are there for a reason.

These kits are designed for economy, and according to your specific needs, which is why they are not sold with a “buy now” button.  For me, part of priestly supervision is ensuring that you get the correct supplies and instruction for you, not just some standardized factory formula.  We want it to actually work for you.  So that you understand, we are very picky about effectiveness, so we are not stingy about ingredients or their quality.  These might seem a little pricier than the average mojo kits, but you will see that it is worth it.  Our photos are not exaggerations.

Spirit/Orisha Bags

We make kits for bags to carry the blessings and vibration of the Orishas or other Spirits with you.  These are very good for people who have an affinity for a certain Spirit, and want to stay mindful or keep their influence around them.  It is also good for those who don’t have the privacy or space for a full altar.

With these, you get a bag, the appropriate ingredients, and two elekes (necklaces), one for Eshu and another for the Orisha or Spirit you want the bag for.  For while you are making the bag, you get a dose of the appropriate incense.  To anoint the bag, you get 5 ml. of our special oils.  You only need a few drops, and can use the rest for wearing or dressing candles.  The total price is $70.

Specific Purpose Bags

Attract Love for Men, Women, Gay Men, Lesbians, Bisexual People

attraction mojo kit for womenThese kits are specific to your gender and orientation and those of the people you are trying to attract.  You get the bag, ingredients, incense for while you are filling the bag, and 5ml. of Attraction Oil to anoint the bag and use on the body.  You also get a special paper charm to keep under your mattress.  The price of this kit is $50.

Attract Success in Business and Sales

This kit is for people who do not depend on a salary for their whole income.  It is to make a wanga that you keep in your work area or on your person to draw people to your business and cause them to want to buy from you.  It comes with the bag, ingredients, incense to burn while filling the bag, and also in your workplace, and anointing oil.  The price of this kit is $100.

Attract Success for Salaried Workers

This kit is for people who receive a standard salary.  You keep the wanga on your person to make your employer and co-workers like you and want to promote you and provide opportunities for bonuses and raise your status.  It comes with the bag, ingredients, incense, and anointing oil.  After anointing the bag with a few drops, you rub one drop per day on your hands.  The price of this kit is $75.

Get Bigger Tips, Level 1

This wanga is specifically for waitresses, buspersons, and others who work for tips.  It helps you to maintain your calm whie working, yet increases your sensitivity to people’s moods and desires.  It helps you to be attentive and not frustrated, and gives you a sort of “glow” that makes people want to give you more money.  You get the bag, ingredients, incense, and anointing oil for the bag and your hands.  The price of this kit is $50.

Get Bigger Tips, Level 2

This wanga is for dancers, strippers, and others in the adult industries, to make people want to give you more money, and protect and relieve you from accumulated negative energy from being looked upon lustfully so often.  It is generally best for you to have this made by a priest/ess, but because I understand that many in this business are spiritual people, it is not too far off that you may be able to do this work for yourself.  Belly dancers especially have a higher than average closeness to Oshun, so I offer this kit for those of you who prefer a DIY approach, but just don’t have the time to search around and test supplies.

With this kit, you get the usual bag, ingredients, incense, and oil, but you also get 10ml (a year’s supply) of our specially blended and brewed Oshun oil for the navel, and our own Love Goddess bakhoor (incense) to fragrance your preparation area or bedroom.  The price of this kit is $150.

Sheloya's Mortar and PestleProtection for Warriors

This wanga is for soldiers in combat, police, security guards, construction workers, martial artists, extreme sportspersons, and others who work in dangerous professions.  It increases your luck, and helps you to see what you wouldn’t normally see, and gives you more fire in your blood when you need it, and keep you calm and cool when you need that.  Basically, it helps you to not accelerate your appointment with Iku, and to face that prospect with more courage.  This works best when it is made as a gift for someone, so if you buy it yourself, you may want to have a friend or loved one do the assembly for you, or buy it for a friend and have them do the same for you.  It comes with the bag, ingredients, a special hand made Eshu charm, incense, and protection oil to anoint the bag and wear on your body at the solar plexus.  The price of this kit is $50.

Protection From Evil Eye

This is our basic evil eye protection wanga bag.  It comes with the bag, ingredients which include a protection mirror and other things, incense, and anointing oil.  Keep it on your person to protect you from the negative energy of people looking on you with jealousy.  The price of this kit is $30.

Protection From Psychic Attacks

This wanga protects you in situations wherein you know for certain that there will be haters.  When you have to do negotiations with hostile people, or if you work in a situation where your authority makes you the automatic villain, this is a good tool to have to repel directed ill will, curses, and psychic attacks.  It comes with a bag, ingredients, incense, and anointing oil.  The price for this kit is $45.

Ceremony and Rootwork Policies

Oshun love ceremony

Oshun love ceremony

Before any ceremony or root work is done, I do readings to make sure that the Spirits will allow it, and that we have chosen the correct course.  I mainly serve the Vodun, Obeah, and African diaspora faith communities.  If you are not at least familiar with African faiths, please visit the Orisha Online Altar to learn more before contacting me.  I do not have patience for non Africans disrespecting African faiths.  I also do not have the time to teach the Orishas and Alusi to every person who emails me individually.

If you already know what you need, you may order a reading or ceremony on our Order a Ceremony or Rootwork page.

When you request rootwork or ceremonies from us, we attempt to give you the best service possible that is within your budget.  We list the prices for the most requested and standard works, and how much they usually cost, but there is a scale for these things.  You will not be denied any service at all because you can’t afford to pay the usual price.  We will just try to find a way to get the job done within your budget. If you are in a really bad financial situation, or are skeptical about whether or not Obeah will work for you, browse our community ceremonies for specific works we do for the community throughout the year, or get added to my altar if you don’t want to wait until a holiday.

The cost of ceremonies and root work is determined by the supplies, transportation, timing, effort required by participants, and physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual risk.  Some ceremonies also require rental of a space and security.

If you are actively practicing Vodun, Obeah, Santeria, Candomble, Jaadu, Baalat Teva (Afro Canaanite, Sumerian, and/or Phoenician Nature Spirituality), Nubian or Kemetic Spirituality, or another related African, Middle Eastern, or diaspora system to the point that you are doing daily observances, you have the option of “division of labor” pricing.  I would do the ceremonial and crafting part, and you can do the required ebo.  I strongly recommend this option for active practitioners because the Spirits hold you at a higher level of accountability than the average person or less active believer.  It will make your working even stronger because you are taking an active role in it.

People practicing at a priestly level certainly have this option, but depending on the situation, may participate in a barter of services.  Workings can be done for you in exchange for workings being done for me/my house.  We can add fire to each others’ causes.  Also, if you make things I like or can sell in the store, you can pay with those items.  For example, if you grow cherry trees, cherry bark is something I use for love workings all the time, so you could pay in cherry bark, blossoms, or other things you make from them.

If you are in or visiting Israel, I encourage you to come to see me personally.  It is not as risky as it may seem on the news, and everyone should visit at least once in their lives.  You are welcome and encouraged to participate in ceremonies that you sponsor.

If you are not in Israel, or can’t be present, we take photos so that you can see that the work is being done.  We can’t take pictures of every step as some things must be done privately, but the parts we are allowed to photograph, we do.

Most ceremonies and works take around a week to complete.  For the ones in which offerings to a Spirit are required, we make a nkisi partly from the ashes or remnants and send this to you.

As with our store items, each nkisi, gri gri, bocchio, box altar, or other items related to the work is made to order.  So some supplies may need to be ordered from elsewhere.  In such a case, it may take two weeks or so to complete the construction of the physical items, but the Spirits begin to move as soon as the offerings are given and the ceremonial part is done.

All ceremonies and root work begin with asking Eshu (also known as Elegua or Exu) to open the gate.  This is usually done on a Monday.  If the work is for war or justice, then we do an additional offering to Eshu on that Friday.  For other works, we approach the other appropriate Orishas and other Spirits on days of that week that are auspicious for them.

If you get extra things in your package, please pay special attention to them.  They are there because the Spirits instructed us that you needed them.

Custom Spell Lessons

If you are on a tight budget or aren’t sure if you want to leave the matter in someone else’s hands, I offer video lessons for your specific needs, if you want to do a working for yourself, for a reasonable fee.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here in the comments or in the contact form.

Results Based Pricing

Because of some unethical people, I no longer offer results based pricing.  I have posted enough videos, enough photos, and even offer free addition to my altar so I can pray for you in my normal every day observances.  I do not do special spell work or root work for free because it takes supplies, transportation, and time that I can not afford to give away.  So if you only want to donate if you get results then feel free to request addition to my altar.  This is as much as I can do at minimal cost.

Blessings and Ase!
