Oshun Ebbo for Spring 2018

Well well, it has been a crazy year. Last year’s Odu of the year at the Worldwide Ifa Festival was Oggunda Tasia, and they say this year it is going to be the same. People who respect the Orishas/Nature will come out on top, but those who don’t will suffer a lot, and some will take it out on those better off or anyone within their reach.

We have seen this with our own eyes and felt this on our own flesh. Not just from others who try to profit from wrongdoing going nuts and self destructive, trying to harm others on their way down, but in the ways in which we could do better at respecting the Orishas. Every time one of us didn’t do what we knew we should because of fear or because of low level human bite sized morality, we paid dearly for it…but that’s okay. We respect and learn from the chastisement of the Orishas. It makes us leaner and maybe not meaner but a whole lot more decisive.

So this year’s spring ebbo for Oshun, Aje Shaluga, and Ogun, was late because of all sorts of crazy, but man…when we finally had it on May 10 (5-10) it was awesome.

Bonus, some of the workings some of us had going are already showing successes. We don’t count it until things manifest fully, but at least things are moving in the right direction.

I want to thank all of my clients for readings and workings who have been patient with me this year. If I lost your email in the computer crash or forgot about you during the move or grieving for my lost beloved three cats, casualties in our battle against our old landlord, please write to me at sheloya@obeahwoman.com

Ore Yeye Oshun O! Blessings and Ase!
