Ceremony in Honor Of the Ancestors, October 2014

On the night of October 30, 2014, Ile Baalat Teva hosted the annual Feast of the Ancestors.  It was a beautiful and powerful gathering of ile members and others from the Pagan (and Gnostic) community.  Each brought delicacies, mementos, and other items, as well as their reverence for the Dead, and gratitude to their Ancestors and the Orishas and other Deities who now embrace them.

Not only were the Vodun Orishas honored, but Haitian Lwa, Canaanite, Hellenic, and Kemetic deities as well.  Since Death receives all, then all perspectives are welcome.  Ashe!
